What a beautiful place to be surrounded by fine art and countryside. The starters were a perfected balance of tastes and textures. The main meals again an unexpected fusion of tastes textures turning simple ingredients into a meal to remember superb ,as was our delightful hosts and staff.will return again and again.
Had a truly wonderful stay there. The staff were so accommodating as my partner and I celebrated our engagement and my mum had arranged decorations to be put up on our door, in our room and on the table when we dined. The chef sent through a "gift" from the kitchen which was delicious (all the meals were amazing - beautifully presented and tasted amazing). The staff were so attentive and accommodating and I look forward to going back! As for the art and the sculptures, they speak for themselves. I would absolutely recommend.

Overall, I had a nice stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, you could taste they were using quality products. The staff within the hotel were very friendly, I do not know much about this business but it felt family run which was a nice touch and even supplied me with a tray, cutlery and napkins when I ordered takeaway in the evening. The only issues I found were my room being rather small and the same with the shower. As my stay was for only one night the room size was something I could deal with although any longer and I may have felt a bit too enclosed. I am a guy with an average build and I found when trying to move in the shower I would hit my elbows on the door. I would most likely recommend this hotel if A ) the other rooms and facilities are larger (which they most likely are as my room was one of the cheaper options) or B ) you have short arms, Overall, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Lovely bedroom albeit up in the roof but compensated by great views of the Barnstaple skyline. Great breakfast choices including home made granola that has to be tasted if you like that sort of breakfast. I would definitely stay again if working in Barnstaple again

Nice hotel. Have been here for a doomed wedding in the function room and a pointless training course in the conference suites (neither one was The Cedars fault). The food is decent and the coffee is average. They quite often have dinner and music events here which are good value and entertaining.
Not the first time I have visited, but was pleased today. Found a table and had a few low dose bevvies post employment. Service was quick, nachos we're served and the staff were happy and friendly. No qualms today an I will return. Seemed quite busy for a Thursday night and it seems the place gets used for functions as the car park was brimming.

Recently reopened as Horse And Groom. The pub has been done up really nice. Drink prices are very competitive, very close to spoons prices on a lot of drinks. A lot of deals on bottled drinks too. Good atmosphere a pool table and a couple of dart boards, tv's all over the pub so great for watching sports.
Fantastic food and excellent service highly recommend

Place was crowded but still they managed to serve food in 10 minutes. Well done. Also good local beers from GT Ales.

Our holiday business (Cuckoo Down Farm) has been using My Favourite Cottages for several years and we are delighted with the service they offer. They answer all our calls and emails for us, which has honestly transformed our business for the better. They are very nice people to deal with and transfer visitor payments very promptly - usually within a week. They administer all our bookings and guest queries efficiently and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Their set-up allows us to keep and run our own holiday business website while having the admin support of a friendly and professional team at My Favourite Cottages.
A great company to do business with. Staff very loyal so I feel I know them all personally. MFC built my website which helps my visibility on the net. Nothing is too much trouble, any issues get fixed promptly. I trust them financially, I feel they are a focused team working hard for me.

Prixford EX31 4DX, UK – 01271 321570
Delightful little place, very warm and comfortable. My sister and I spent one night here and Sandra was really helpful, both during booking over the phone and when we met her in person. Breakfast was delicious and we had everything we needed. I would definitely come back for more! Xx
Too isolated for us. Not as we expected very close to owners house with just cars as a view. TV very small and hardly any channels. No WI-FI which increases the isolation. Owner very helpful but just not for us.
Broadgate, 2 Bellaire, Barnstaple EX31 1QZ, UK – 01271 373229
Rosie and I stayed at Jane's B&B at No.2 Broadgate, Bellaire for 7 nights and it was the best! The huge bedroom and bathroom were beautiful, we felt so relaxed. We pampered ourselves in the gorgeous bathtub with the luxurious toiletries supplied. The breakfasts were delicious and easy, we met some interesting and lovely people in the breakfast room. Jane was also very helpful in suggesting some lovely walks around Barnstaple. We had a great time there and if we are in the UK again we will certainly go there. Thanks Jane.
An incredible B&B with impeccable service and style I stayed here for a week to visit family and friends. What an absolutely stunning B&B. From the moment you walk through those gates into the pretty hidden courtyard you are transported into a world of luxury and pampering. The room I chose was the largest room I have ever stayed in and the bathroom was nearly as big as my whole flat at home. I just cant wax lyrical enough about this little place - 10/10 , perfection just sums it up. If you are thinking of staying here all I can say is DO IT!!! you won't be disappointed. This is Bed and Breakfast at its finest and I will definitely be back for more. Thanks guys!
Barbican Terrace, Barnstaple EX32 9HQ, UK – 01271 328504
Superior room incl. huge bathroom, friendly hosts. Very good breakfast in a wonderful location
A wonderful central location tucked away in a quiet location by the old church. Service was impeccable and all the staff we met there were friendly and helpful. Lots to do in the area from extreme sports to quiet relaxing walks.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
Braunton Road, Barnstaple EX31 4AU, UK – 01271 441150
We got stuck in bank holiday traffic so we were concerned we would miss check in. However after calling Hannah we were assured we would be ok and we arrived before reception closed. Welcomed to the park with a gift box for us with tea coffee and biscuits a bag of treats for our dog and sweets for our two girls. The caravan was spotless as was the park. When you walked round everyone so friendly wishing you good morning etc. The day after we returned another courtesy call to ask if everything went well during our stay and making sure our journey home went well. We will definitely be back.
Nice and new not a lot on park at the moment as its a new build but i am shure it will get there staff are friendly bus stop just over the road easy to find

Great peaceful campsite. Very clean showers & toilets, relaxed and friendly owners and in a beautiful, quiet location.
Shared bathroom. And toilets. Camping is on a slope. Not aloud to take your car in the camping field. Nice place for weddings though in the barn.
